San Francisco like other Californian cities has many things to show. The Golden Gate Bridge being the most famous. Marilyn and I spent a day in San Francisco 10 years ago. We rode the Muni Light Rail Trolly seen on the steep hills in many Hollywood movies. We walked through China town and the famous San Francisco Fisherman's Warf which was like walking through an amusement park except of course viewing the infamous bay.. Another charm is Alcatraz Island and its famous prison which we did not visit.
This Northern California trip we skirt the San Francisco Neighborhoods and will drive over the famous Golden Gate Bridge to get to the tours of the wine country. Click here for Google photos of these attraction and charms of San Francisco.
In addition to Korbel we will continue drive through Wine Country hoping to taste the latest Cabernet straight from the the barrel at a family owned boutique winery, learn about the wine-making process, walk through Sonoma and Santa Rosa to see other charming towns to experience the great outdoors and best wineries and then stay our first night at Dry Creek Inn in Healdsburg Sonoma County Hotel
